HOW IT WORKS

Compose text without changing your keyboard layout

  1. Choose a character set. Filter by language, accent mark, or both.
  2. Write in the text box. Use your ordinary keyboard for the rest of the text.
  3. Place the cursor. Click or tap where the accented letter belongs, or select text to replace.
  4. Insert the character. Choose a visible letter button.
  5. Copy the completed text. Paste it into your document, message, or form.

Your draft stays in the text box when you change filters or a search has no matches. The tool does not upload the text you compose.

Choose language filtering for correct character sets

Language filters include a practical character set rather than every Unicode letter that could occur in a quotation or foreign name. Polish includes its nine distinctive letters, Turkish preserves dotted and dotless I pairs, and Portuguese includes current accent and cedilla forms.

Czech and Slovak, Romanian, and Vietnamese collections include their language-specific marked letters. The same character can belong to more than one language. Ü appears in German, Spanish, French, and Turkish contexts, but its linguistic function differs. Use the language collections when you need spelling and pronunciation distinctions.

Choose accent filtering when you recognize the mark

Accent filters group characters by visible construction: acute, grave, circumflex, tilde, diaeresis, cedilla, ogonek, caron, dot, or stroke. Stroke and special-letter filters are included because users often browse these forms alongside accents, even though a stroke is not a diacritic.

For definitions and larger mark-specific collections, open the accent marks guide. For Unicode values and device shortcuts, select a focused letter page from the accented-letter hub.

Your text stays in your browser

Composing, filtering, and copying happen in your browser. The tool does not upload your draft or search text. Analytics measures interactions such as successful copies and selected filters, but does not receive the words you enter. Search events record query length, not the search text.

Reloading or closing the page clears the composed text. Copy anything you need before leaving. See the privacy policy and accessibility statement for additional details.
